CERAMIC TILE CHART - (PDF)

Tile designs are creations of artist Norm Lewellen, and all our ceramic tiles are handmade by the artist. Our collection of original designs in six and eight inch ceramic art tile includes wildlife, botanical and art nouveau.

Tiles are made from hand pressed stoneware clay, high fired to cone five. Our Signature and Hand Painted glazes are lead free and available in glossy, satin or matte finish. The inherent nature of being handmade of mined materials allows desirable variations of the tiles and glazes to occur. Art tiles are made with a notch in back for hanging.

Our Hand Painted titles are created using a unique method of glaze blending that renders natural color combinations to enhance the realism of these old world quality relief art titles.

Hand pressed field tile is available in all Signature and Hand Painted back ground glaze colors. Field tiles are offered with a beveled edge, including single and double bullnose, and can be glazed with or without the shaded edges of our art tiles. Field tile is available as special order only and cannot be returned.

FIELD TILE INFORMATION :

All of our field tile are made with beveled edges, this level of quality requires each tile to be hand pressed into molds. Field tiles vary between 1/2" and 5/8" thick, and are the same thickness as our art tile. The actual dimentional size is apperoximately 1/4" less than the size specified, to allow for a reasonable variance of grout line thickness.
